Machinarium

Machinarium is a wonderful and original puzzle game in which you are a very funny robot, who explores a post-apocalyptic world and solves hundreds of puzzles on the way. Every level presents a new point-and-click adventure in which you must collect objects and perform certain tasks in a specific order to win the level. You also can interact with objects and characters that are near the robot by clicking on them. Some of the objects can be picked for later use and they are placed on your inventory panel. To use them just click on them on the inventory and click a part of the scene where you want to use them. Some of the objects can also be combined. You also must pay attention to the dialogue bubbles and ideas that appear on the characters heads to know what to do. If you need a more detailed help, you can play a simple mini-game that reveals all the steps required to win the level. However, you better remember them by heart or write them down, because they are only shown once and if you want to take a look at it again, you must play the mini-game again. The mini-game is always the same, but with different scenarios. You are a key, which must reach the lock that is at the end to win. The key moves forward by itself and what you have to do is use the arrow keys to move downwards or upwards and spacebar to shoot. You also must avoid building blocks and creatures to reach to the other extreme safely.
Regarding the graphics, they are very impressive and detailed. Sound effects and music are also a plus. Also, the demo version can be played online or downloaded.
